Wireless Anemometer for Crane is a mechanical rotating wind speed sensor designed specifically for telescopic cranes and other lifting equipment operating in outdoor environments. The sensor uses advanced digital circuitry with strong resistance to RFI and EMI interference and features automatic temperature compensation for accurate and stable wind speed measurement.
Wind speed signals are generated through electromagnetic induction and output as voltage and current signals. The wind speed value has a linear relationship with horizontal wind speed, ensuring precise monitoring for crane safety applications.
All external sensor components are manufactured from high-quality alloy material and finished with surface powder coating, making the unit waterproof, corrosion-resistant, and suitable for harsh industrial environments. Sealing rings are provided at internal and rotating positions to prevent the ingress of water, salt fog, and dust.
The SARAS-A01 Wind Speed Sensor is equipped with an inbuilt electronic automatic heating system. When the ambient temperature drops below 0°C, the heating system activates automatically to melt ice and prevent freezing of external rotating parts, ensuring uninterrupted operation in cold climates.
